We take an interdisciplinary approach to solve fundamental questions about how cells work, employing a range of techniques from biological physics, molecular biology, genetics, computing, to optical engineering.

Postdoctoral researchers

Postdocs are invited to apply for fellowships, e.g. by the Human Frontiers Science Program, EMBO, Marie Curie, or Junior Research Fellowships at Oxford's colleges. Contact me if you are keen to take on an exciting research project within the research area of our lab.


Doctorate students

Students interested in joining the lab for their PhD can apply to the following graduate programs at Oxford University:

DPhil in Biochemistry

Interdisciplinary Bioscience Doctoral Training Program

These programs are under the umbrella of the Medical Sciences Division. Students become member of one of Oxford's colleges. The colleges typically provide accommodation and meals for students, and a nice environment to meet friends. Some colleges also offer scholarships or travel and project grants.
