OUBS - the society for biochemistry at Oxford

Nobel prize winner Andrew Fire speaking to the OUBS (2008).

Oxford University Biochemical Society (OUBS) is a student-run society that aims to promote biochemistry at all levels across the university. We organise weekly seminars that bring scientists from around the world to Oxford, and an annual careers day for students and staff across the life sciences.

We are dependent on our sponsors. If you are interested in sponsoring our activities, or in opportunities for advertising, please contact us.

Our next event:

Monday 21st May 16:00 - 17:00 Prof. Martin Caffrey Trinity College, Dublin Crystallizing Membrane Proteins for Structure-Function Studies Using Lipidic Systems Main Meeting Room, New Biochemistry Building
